Artemisia arborescens is a wild plant grown in the Mediterranean basin, many add the dried leaves of Artemisia arborescens to their cup of tea and thus enhance its flavor and make it healthier and more nutritious. It can also be found as an ingredient in a number of well-known alcoholic beverages such as Absinthe, Ouzo and Vermouth. The meadow has been known for thousands of years as a plant with unique medicinal properties thanks to its active biological ingredients such as absinthein and ascrobic acid – vitamin C.
